About

Hi there, thanks for visiting my page.

I'm an interdisciplinary designer, researcher, and entrepreneur from Costa Rica with a fiery passion for sustainability. Before diving into the world of sustainability, I honed my skills in NYC, working in design consulting and product development for prestigious international home goods brands. This site showcases some of the products I've launched to market and projects I’ve worked on.

Today, my focus is on pioneering sustainable solutions through my startup, Loopa. We leverage AI-powered carbon accounting and resale to build transparency in the furniture industry. I'm also working on developing eco-friendly furniture collections to further promote sustainability.

I thrive in interdisciplinary teams, tackling challenges that demand creativity and critical thinking. Explore my projects, and if you're interested in consulting services or collaborating on new ventures, don't hesitate to reach out. Anything related to design & sustainability is interesting to me.

For those interested in my academic background, I hold an M.S. in Engineering and Management from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a double BFA in Furniture Design and Fibers Design from the Savannah College of Art and Design. I'm also certified in Sustainable Management by the MIT Sloan School of Management and in Life Cycle Assessment by MIT.
