T-Collection for Unopiu
In 2018 we were introduced to Unopiu to help them rebrand. The company had just been acquired by new owners and they needed to revamp the look of the brand and restructure the company. My first challenge was to create a design brief for our collection, one that would create a new look but still honor the heritage of a 40 yr old furniture company.
I conducted market research and studied their current catalog piece by piece to identify gaps and opportunities. The collection needed to cater to both residential and contract clientele, as well as speak of luxury but within a competitive price point. Their first success had been in iron garden chairs, and this had been left behind by them and many other brands, so I decided to focus on this. The collection aimed to be a fresh new look for the traditional iron outdoor furniture that made Unopiu famous in the first place.
I prepared all the designs and managed the project and client relationship from concept ideation to prototype development and testing. The collection was introduced to market in 2019.
